Helen L. McCord Kissinger, 87, of Wyomissing, Berks County, died Friday, Sept. 29, in Manor Care Health Services, Laureldale, Berks County. She was the wife of Howard E. Kissinger, who died in 1990, and the late John C. McCord.
Born in Tusseyville, Centre County, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Charles and Naomi (Martz) Horner.
She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Birdsboro, Berks County.
Survivors: Daughter, Cheryl Holahan of Reading; stepson, Gary Kissinger of Bernville, Berks County; stepdaughter, Joyce Kieffer of New Cumberland, Cumberland County; sisters, Esther Alderman of Pottstown, Montgomery County, Fern Johnson of Birdsboro, Mary Rothrock of Neffs; brothers, Luke of Walnutport, Mark of Slatington, Paul of Slatedale; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Auman Funeral Home at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton, Berks County, and Monday 10:30-11 a.m. in the church.
