Mrs. Milton (Verna) Hoppe, 82 of ?? 5th Street, Algoma, died Friday, October 6, 1989 at Kewaunee Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Algoma. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum.

Mrs. Hoppe was born September 26, 1907 at Manitowoc.

She married Milton Hoppe on April 7, 1933 at St. John Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. She was a member of St. Paul's Church and St. Paul's Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband, Milton; a son, Karl Hoppe of Algoma; a daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Jerry Hearley of Two Rivers; a brother, George Bermann of Chicago; a sister, Tillie Peterson of Denmark and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and ? brothers.

Friends may call at Hauke-Schinderle Funeral Home, Highway 43, Algoma, 4 to 8 this Monday and after 9:30 am Tuesday at the church until time of service. Prayer service will be held at 8 pm this evening at the funeral home.
