Anna L. Hutterer, age 93, a resident of River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, and formerly of Rockwood, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 4, 2007, at River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Anna was born on June 13, 1913, in the town of Kossuth to the late Peter and Catherine Muench Shimek. Anna was employed for many years at Manitowoc Paper Box Company, Wagner's Meat Market in Francis Creek, and Imperial Eastman from where she retired in 1975. On Oct. 28, 1930, Anna married Jerome H. Hutterer at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Francis Creek. Jerome preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1999. Anna was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and their Christian Women, Francis Creek, Rockwood Senior Citizens, and also of Rockwood Homemakers.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Dorothy Hutterer, Agnes Havolitz, and Phyllis Braun; and a brother, Leonard Shimek.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Francis Creek from 10 a.m. until the beginning of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. The Rev. Paul Paider will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of River's Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Dr. (private), and (private), for the care and compassion which they provided to Anna.
