Florence A. Jentsch, age 84, a resident of The Regency House at 929 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday, May 8, 2001 at St. Mary's Home.
Funeral services held at First German Evangelical Lutheran church. Officiating at the service Rev. Joel Otto with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Cascade, daughter of the late Herman W. and Elsa Daehn Urban. On June 7, 1941, she married Robert h. Jentsch in the town of Rantoul. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1996.
Florence worked with her husband on the family farm in the town of Rantoul for 16 years before moving to Manitowoc.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Shirley Jentsch, Thornton, Colo., Donald and Eileen Jentsch, Springfield, Mo., Kenneth and Pattie Jentsch, Manitowoc; three granddaughters; one great grandson; a sister, Elsie Gessert, Plymouth; two brothers and six sisters-in-law, Harold and Lou Ann Urban, Milwaukee, William and Helen Urban, Manitowoc, Rusty Urban, New Holstein, Lydia Urban, Chilton, Shirley Jentsch and Caroline Jentsch, both from the town of Rantoul, and a brother-in-law, Norbert Mohs, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Mohs; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Lester Urban, John Urban and George and Leona Urban and a brother-in-law, Marvin Gessert.
