Clara M. Junker, 95, a former Manitowoc resident, died at San Luis Manor of Green Bay on Saturday, February 22, 1992.

The former Clara Schultz as born in DePere on June 23, 1896, to the late Carl and Reaka (née Laabs) Schultz.

She married Erwin Junker on September 22, 1921, in Oconto County and he preceded her in death October 28, 1967.

Clara and her husband were owners and operators of the former Wimpy's Lunch located on Washington Street in Manitowoc and retiring in 1967. She also was a member of the Ladies Aide of Wesley United Methodist Church in Manitowoc.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Lillian Junker of Green Bay; a granddaughter and her husband, Nancy and James Bachrach of California; a sister, Florence Eichman of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Alvina Bohl, Minnie Spinker, Lillian Karlman.

Funeral services will be held at The Pfeffer Funeral Home with entombment to follow on Wednesday at Knollwood Mausoleum. The family requests that memorials be made to Wesley United Methodist Church in Manitowoc or the San Luis Manor in Green Bay.
A special thanks to the dedicated staff at San Luis Manor for the love and care they administered.
