Elizabeth Berniece Jones, Metcalfe Co., KY (d. Mar. 10, 2013)

She was the matriarch of a large, highly regarded North Metcalfe County, KY, family. She was the daughter of the late Rupert Earl and Zora Nunn Kidd. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. She leaves 14 direct living descendants.

Elizabeth Berniece Jones age 80 of Center died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, 1777 Center-Peggyville Road, Center, KY, with burial in the Houk Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pmCT/3pm-9pmET, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY and after 10amCT/11amET, Wednesday at the church.

She was the daughter of the late Rupert Earl and Zora Nunn Kidd. She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church.

She is survived by the following:
Three children: Kathy Powers and husband Frankie of Edmonton, KY; Ronnie Jones and wife Nancy of Center, KY; and Chester Jones of Center, KY.

Six grandchildren: Christy Brooks and husband Kevin, Courtney Acree, April Rooks, Bliss Brewster and husband Matt, Jesse Jones and Dakota Jones.

Five great grandchildren: Cody Brooks, Kassie Brooks, Oakley Pruitt, Preslie Acree and Tucker Brewster.

One sister: Linda Wilkerson and husband Woodson of Munfordville, KY.

A brother in law: Herman R. Scott Jr. of Center, KY.

Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two children, Johnny and Joyce Ann Jones; two sisters, Louise Scott and Joyce Kidd; and one brother Paul Kidd.
