Mr. Rogers was born in Mullins, a son of Annie Elease Cox of Florence, and the late Daniel F. Rogers. He was retired from Dupont, where he worked as a technical operative from 1972-2005. Mr. Rogers also was a member of the Temperance Hill Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn S. Rogers; daughters, Sharon R. Windham, Karen R. Cooper, and Angela Rogers; son-in-laws, Mike Windham and Randall N.Cooper; brothers, William C. Rogers and Ricky Daniel Rogers; and sisters, Margaret R. Grover and Judy R. Cooper.
