Linda Faye (Wiggins) McRee, 69, of Cedar Creek, Texas, was born on March 2, 1944 in Harrison County, Texas to George Seth & Leona Madeline (Setzer) Wiggins. She was united in marriage to Carroll McRee on October 10, 1959. Linda was a loving and devoted homemaker, wife and mother. Her passions in life were children and flowers. She enjoyed singing at all of the community churches and doing everything she could for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and seven brothers and sisters.

Linda is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Pryor & her husband, Freddie, Christine Gartman & her husband, Robert and Tori McRee all of Bastrop; five sons, Jimmy McRee & his wife, Cherrie, Ronnie McRee, John McRee & his wife, Jessica, Jay McRee & his wife, Tina and Kevin McRee & his wife, Joanie all of Bastrop; 20 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Crenwelge of Fredricksburg as well as multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral services are scheduled at Ridgeway Baptist Church in Paige, Texas with Roger Osborn officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Ridgeway Baptist Church or to the charity of one's choice.
