Mrs. Victor (Gertrude E.) Remiker, age 91, of 516 S CTH J, Reedsville (Clarks Mills), died Monday night, March 21, 2005 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mills. The Rev. James Jugenheimer will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial with burial to follow on Thursday in the parish cemetery.

The former Gertrude Kasbaum was born November 28, 1913 in Clarks Mills, daughter of the late Edwin and Katherine Tuschl Kasbaum. She was a 1932 graduate of Valders High School and graduated from the Sheboygan Business College. In the past, Gertrude worked for the Salvatorian Publishing Department of St. Nazianz and also for the Mirro Co. in Manitowoc. On July 12, 1938, Gertrude was married to Victor Remiker at St. Mary's Catholic church in Clarks Mills. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Marian Council, she volunteered at the Manitowoc County Chamber of Commerce and did mission work by making rosaries for the Cop's Foundation.

Survivors include her husband, Victor of Clarks Mills; three daughters and sons-in-law, Pat (Joe) Pivonka of Valders, Kathy (Ken) LeCroix of Sheboygan, Mary (Dan) Thompson of Waunakee; seven grandchildren, Tara (David) Reagles, Todd (Judy) Pivonka, Kari (John) Madson, Kelley (Miguel) Galeano, Marty (Sam) Statz, Wade Thompson, Abbey Thompson; six great-grandchildren: Katie and Noah Pivonka, Morgan and Mason Madson, Maya and Marcus Galeano, Madigan and Jackson Statz; one sister, Isabel Brennan of Reedsville; two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Elmer Remiker Sr. of Manitowoc; Joseph (Mary) Remiker Jr. of Reedsville, Mary Dorothy Hastreiter of Reedsville; three special friends, John Conrad, Sandy Adelman and Deacon Tom Koch; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by four brothers-in-law: Eugene Brennan, Edward Remiker, Herbert Remiker and Herbert Hastreiter; four sisters-in-law: Marie Remiker, Laura Remiker, Mary Remiker and Kathryn Remiker.

Relatives and friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mills on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral home of Kellnersvile is serving the Remiker family.
