KOCIAN, GEORGE J
George J. Kocian age 73 of 7807 Fisherville Raod Whitelawn, passed away Thursday morning Feburary 19, 1994 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Mr. Kocian was born August 14, 1920 in Cooperstown, he was the late son of Mat & Katherine (Tisler) Kocian. Mr. Koncian was united in holy matrimoiny with Marguerite "June" Piton on February 10, 1942 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in West De Pere.
Mr. Kocian servied in the USARMY from October 10, 1942 through November 19, !945 & was a World War II Veteran.
Mr. Kocian was employed by the Manitowoc County Highway Department for many years retiring in 1980.
Mr. Kocian was a avid fisherman, an all around handyman for many people in the area.
Mr. Kocian is preceded in passing by two infant granddaughters; two brothers, Joseph Kocian & Victor Kocian; two sisters, Eleanor Wachal; & Molly Chaerney; two sisters-in-law, Frern Kocian & Rose Kocain; a brother-in-law Qurin Wachal.
Mr. Kocain is survived in passing by wife of the home; three daughters; two son-in-laws, four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers & two sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews & other relatives& friends.
Family & friends may call at Saur Funeral Home on sunday from 4:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where there will be a prayer service led by Father Schneider.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, Rev. Donald Schneider will officiate with entombment in Knowllwood Masusoleum.
