BETTY A. KRAHN

Betty A. Krahn, age 62, went to her eternal glory with God on Saturday, October 10, 1998.

She was born June 26, 1936, in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Emil and Bertha (née Bubolz) Waack.

She married Norman Krahn, on October 30, 1955, at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, in Reedsville. The couple farmed in the town of Maple Grove, Manitowoc County. At the time of her death, she was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church, Brillion. Betty was a member of the St. Bartholomew Ladies Aid, K-P Homemakers, Food Leader of Farm and Home North 4-H Club, Calumet County Homemakers Council, and Past President of Calumet County Homemakers. She held the office of Secretary-Treasurer of AAL Local Branch 2108 for 30 ½ years and served four years on the State Board of AAL.

Survivors include her husband, Norman, Brillion; three daughters and sons-in-law, Colleen and Steve Angel, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Nancy and Bill Helwig, Dodgeville; Kathryn and George Mueller, Menasha; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Mark and Lori Krahn, Jay and Amy Krahn, and Brian Krahn, all of Brillion; eleven grandchildren, Michael and Heather Angel, Whitney, Hannah and Dakota Helwig, Matthew and Megan Mueller, Joshua and Kayla Krahn and Mitchell and Amanda Krahn. Betty is also survived by her mother-in-law, Meta Krahn, Brillion; one sister and brother-in-law, Ida May and Orville Krepline, Brillion; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Harlen and Phyllis Krahn, Brillion, Lorraine and Guy Harmsen, Hayward, Calif., Eileen and Don Kuzmicky, Richmond, California.

Funeral Services will be held at St Bartholomew Lutheran Church, in Brillion, with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, in the town of Kossuth.
Memorials would be appreciated to St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church, Brillion.
