James Howard McDaniel, Formerly Of This County, Dies In Nashville --

James Howard McDaniel, 46, of Edmondson Road, near Nashville, died at 2:30 o'clock Saturday morning in a Nashville hospital. He had been in ill health for the past four weeks.

Prayer services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Marshall Funeral Home in Nashville with Dr. J. W. Henley officiating. The body was brought to Fayetteville where funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev. T. W. Mayhew officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

A native of Lincoln County, Mr. McDaniel was educated in the public schools of the county and attended Bryson College here. He served with the air forces during World War II.

He was employed at the Proctor and Gamble Co. in Milan, Tennessee.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Charles Luker of Edmondson Road, Nashville, and one brother, C. C. McDaniel of Macon, Georgia.

James Harold McDaniel, 46, died at his home on the Edmondson Road in Nashville Saturday morning, January 24, after a short illness of heart trouble. He was born and raised in this county, and was a son of the late James H. and Sallie Wright McDaniel, and had been away for more than 20 years. He was located at Milan, Tennessee during the war.

He was a member of the Methodist Church. Prayer service was held at the Marshall Funeral Home in Nashville Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. James W. Hendley of Nashville. The remains were brought to Higgins Funeral Home Sunday afternoon and funeral services held there Monday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. T. W. Mayhew, pastor of the local Methodist Church. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Charles Luker of Nashville; and one brother, Carlton C. McDaniel of Macon, Georgia.
