Richard "Dick" Wood 45, retired owner of Wood Sales Co. and former food broker, died Friday in a Valley hospital. Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Sunday in Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home Chapel, 330 N. 2nd. Ave. where visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Mass will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Gregory's Catholic Church, 3424 N. 18th Ave.
Mr. Wood, a lifetime resident of Phoenix, retired five years ago he was very active in Pop Warner youth football, serving as president of West Central Pop Warner two years ago.
Survivors; include three sons, Mark, David, & Dean, and a daughter, Kimberly Wood, all of AZ.
