B of the 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division. Cpl. Giunta started his tour of Vietnam on November 21, 1968.

He is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph A. Giunta of 103 West 27th Street, South Chicago Heights, Illinois, and is a 1966 graduate of Bloom TWP. H.S. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal.
