DAVID L. JOHNSON

David L. Johnson, 76 of Gibson, who had been making his home with
Ralph Soukup in the town, died Sunday night.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Peter
Lutheran Church, Mishicot. The Rev. Edward Zell will officiate and
burial will be in the Jambo Creek Cemetery.
He was born in Sweden in 1880 and came to the United States in 1898,
locating in Ohio. In 1832 he came to Gibson and for 23 years resided
at the Soukup home.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Christ Anderson, of Laton, Calif., and
a stepdaughter, Mrs. John Erickson of Milwaukee.
Friends may call at the Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 7 p.m.
Tuesday. The casket will be moved to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
