BETSY S. KNUDSON
Miss Betsy Knudson, 73, lifelong resident of the county, died Monday
night at the homestead farm in Gibson. She suffered a stroke a few
days ago.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and
at 2 o'clock from the Jambo Creek Lutheran church, Gibson. Burial will
be in the church cemetery.
Miss Knudson, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Knudson, was
born in Gibson in 1864 and always resided on the farm. In recent years
she had kept house for her brother, Knud, who now operates the farm.
Survivors are the brother, Knud (#106876304), Gibson; two sisters, Misses Sophie and
Christine Knudson, Chicago; three nephews and three nieces.
The body may be viewed at the Knudson home.
