MARGARET KNUTSON

Mrs. Margaret Knutson, 76, a resident on Denmark star route, died
Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Holy Family hospital where she had been a
patient since Friday.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, at 1:30 from the
Knutson home and at 2 p.m. from the Jambo Creek Lutheran church with
the Rev. Edward Zell officiating. Interment will be in the Jambo Creek
cemetery.
Mrs. Knutson, nee Margaret Ording, was born in Germany Nov. 3, 1867
and came to this country with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter
Ording when she was one year old. The family went to Cooperstown. She
married Benjamin Knutson Nov. 17, 1892 and the couple lived at Green
Bay for five years before taking up residence on Denmark Star route. Mr.
Knutson died 15 years ago.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Soukup at home; three sisters,
Mrs. Anna Knutson, Mrs. Mary Schultz and Mrs. Arthur Reimer, all on
Denmark Star route, and two grandchildren.
