He was united in marriage with Aretta Wigfield, who preceded him in death. One daughter survives, Mrs. Effie B Wigfield of Flintstone and 2 grandchildren and one brother also survive: Vernon Hartsock of Pittsburg.
He was a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 28, at the Fairview Christian Church with the Rev. W. W. Twigg officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Balentine Funeral Service.
