BLANTON, Rosalee M. Smith age 77, a resident of Centerville, Ohio, formerly of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born January 28, 1932 in Jackson, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard E. and Dorothy M. (Foster) Smith; her husband, Ray E. Blanton; a son, Steven Ray Blanton, a daughter, Diana Blanton, a grandson, Steven Ray Blanton II, a sister Mary G. Jones and a brother, Carl E. Smith. She is survived by five children; two sisters; 11 grandchildren, one step granddaughter, 12 great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Mayhew Funeral Home Wednesday, January 13, from 4 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Beaver Valley United Baptist Church on Thursday, January 14, at 11:00 a.m. with Elders Wayne Rigsby and Sam Dameron officiating. Burial will follow in the Hannah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Jackson County Heart Support Group or Hospice of Dayton.
