96, of Springfield died at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 26, 1894, in Tennessee, the daughter of William and Mary Peay McLeary. Preceding her in death were her husband, Charles L. Skelton, in 1957. Mrs. Skelton was formerly employed as a school teacher for Springfield District 186. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Green officiating.
Ellinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
