Mineola, Jan. 11—Mrs. Andrea Fenwick Luckenbach, 50, wife of Edgar Luckenbach, president of the Luckenbach Steamship Lines, died of pneumonia today in the Nassau Hospital where she had been a patient since Saturday. Mrs. Luckenbach was born in Toronto and was married to Mr. Luckenbach in 1919. She was his second wife. Elm Court, the estate at Sands Point to which the Luckenbachs moved from Brooklyn, was one of the show places of the North Shore and contained many valuable art treasures, including tapestries reputed by experts to be worth half a million dollars. For the past ten years the house had been closed and the Luckenbachs lived in a farmhouse on the estate. They also had a large estate at Palm Beach, Fla. Mrs. Luckenbach was keenly interested in horses and bred- show horses on her farm. Her horse, Lou Love, has captured ribbons and cups at most of the horse shows-in the metropolitan area in the last five years. Besides her husband, surviving are a daughter, Andrea, who rides her mother's show horses and a son Edgar F. Luckenbach, Jr.
