GATE CITY, Va. - Alma Olene Pendleton, 90, passed away Saturday ( Sept. 29, 2007) at Hospice Holston Valley .
She was born in Scott County , Va. on Oct. 12, 1916 , and was the daughter of Everette Bruce Williams and Lidia Helen McCellan Williams. She was a member of Bishop Memorial Church and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Harold Pendleton, Sr.; a daughter, Billie Quillen Hillman; son, Jerry Joe Pendleton; grandsons, J.B. Quillen, Jr. and Teddy (Doug) Pendleton, Jr.; sister, June William Pendleton; and brother, Troy Williams.
Calling hours will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, Va.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Billy Tignor, Rev. Johnny Duncan and Rev. Gary Adkins.
Music will be provided by Jacksons, The Ferrymen and Mona Holcomb.
Steve Tignor will provide the E u l o g y.
Graveside services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Adams Cemetery in Manville, Va.
Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City , Va. is in charge of arrangements.
