Nicholas Chance "Nick" Mills, 19 years of age, of Lexington, Kentucky formerly of Corbin, Kentucky, departed this life and entered into eternal peace on Sunday, March 24th, 2013, unexpectedly due to complications after a motor vehicle crash. Nick and his new wife of one day, Megan were driving in separate cars up I-75 to Lexington, when a tractor trailer jackknifed on the snowy, slick road in Rockcastle County. Nick's car crashed into the semi-truck and his new wife saw the whole thing.

Nick was born in Pineville, Kentucky on May 18th, 1993, son of Randy Mills of Barbourville, Kentucky and Bruce and Judy Hood of Lexington, Kentucky. He was a 2012 graduate of Corbin High School and continued on to pursue his dream to become a certified mechanic.

Nick was an avid lover of the outdoors and greatly enjoyed riding ATV's, fishing, and working on cars. Nick was a bold young man who truly loved life and rarely ever caught without a smile beaming across his face. Full of life and compassion, he was a true giver and willing to help others in need. As a man of God, he spearheaded adversity and lived his life following Jesus Christ. We will not mourn his death, but celebrate his life and cherish the memories he gave us. We love you Nick and you will live forever in our hearts.

Nick was survived by his newlywed wife, Megan Boggs Mills, whom he married on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013; his parents, Randy Mills, and Judy and Bruce Hood; one sister, Taijha (and her husband, Andrew) Kleinmann; grandparents, Roy and JoAnn Gray of Flat Lick, Kentucky and Eva Sprinkles of Barbourville, Kentucky; his mother-in-law, Marian Boggs; his father-in-law, M. Todd Boggs; one sister-in-law, Morgan Boggs; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.

Visitations were held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26th, 2013 at the Hart Funeral Home in Corbin, Kentucky.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27th, 2013 in the Chapel of the Hart Funeral Home with Alex Kinchen and Joshua Mauney of Turning Point Church in Lexington, Kentucky officiating.

Burial followed in the Resthaven Cemetery.

THIS IS A TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF NICK,

If you could see me now you wouldn't shed a tear, Though you may not understand why I'm no longer there. Remember my spirit, that is the real me because I'm still very much alive, I've just been set free. Oh, if you could only see!

I have held our Father's face and I've touched my Savior's hand. All of Heaven's angels rejoiced as I entered the promised land. Beyond the gates of pearl I've walked on the golden streets.

I've touched the walls of jasper and dipped my foot in the crystal sea. The beauty is beyond words and nothing could compare, I've even seen our Lords mansion and someday I'll meet you there. Let Jesus be your guide because "His Word" will show you the way. So please don't cry because we will meet again someday.
