Age 82, died March 28, 2013; born April 8, 1930 in Lansing, Michigan to Biagio and Francesca (Broncatelli) Luciano. He graduated from Technical High School in 1949 and served his country in the 47th Division, 101st Airborne US Army Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He married Iva Huston November 6, 1964. He retired in 1993 after 43 years of service from the Melling Drop Forge. Leo was the most generous and charitable person, always thinking of others first. He enjoyed spending countless hours with his precious family. He enjoyed reading, gardening, riding his scooter, being "sidewalk supervisor", and especially spending time with his grandkids. He was put on this earth for many reasons: to learn from, to love, to be loved and for being the best Dad. He was preceded in death by his wife, Iva, in 1996; son Leo, Jr. in 1971, four sisters and two brothers. Surviving are his daughter, Robin (Darryn) Babcock; sons, Ron Lucian and Frank (Nichole) Lucian; four grandchildren, Adam and Brianna Babcock and Zachary and Samantha Lucian. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, 102 W. Randolph, Lansing. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 5th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. For those desiring, contributions may be made to Toys for Tots, 1620 E.
