TRANUM, Samuel Edward Jr. passed away at the age of 75 on May 22, 2006. He was the son of Erma Wheelus Tranum and Samuel Edward Tranum. He Graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery, AL and Auburn University with a B.S. in Building Construction. He served as an Ensign in the United States Navy Piloting Planes on Air Craft Carriers. He was a long time member of the Cathedral Church of the Advent and a life time member of the Downtown Birmingham Kiwanis Club. He was also an Active member of the associated General Contractors of America. He is survived by his wife Katherine Cooper Tranum a daughter Katherine "Kaci" Tranum Chesebro (Mark) and a son Samuel "Bo" Edward Tranum the 3rd (Margie). His Grandchildren include Frederick Cooper Chesebro, Mary Katheryn Chesebro, Samuel Chesebro and John Rivers the 2nd. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. The Family Request in Lieu of flowers Memorials are made to the Cathedral Church of the Advent. Ridout's Valley Chapel Directing.
