Carlos A. Perry, 59, of 205 Superior St., died at 2:30 a.m. today in Community Hospital. He was a machinist at the Erie Lackawanna Railway Co., and had been in failing health several months.
Born in Birdsall, N.Y., October 11, 1911, he was the son of Darwin and Eva Ackley Perry. On April 1, 1933 in New York, he married Thelma Tuller.
Surviving in addition to his parents, who reside in New York, and his widow, are five sons, Melvin and Duane of Marion, Ronald of New York, Gerald of California, and Darwin of Illinois; three daughters, Mrs. James (Velma) Stevens of New York, Mrs. Paul (Beverly) Ward of Columbus, and Mrs. Michael (Mary) Betz of Galion. 28 Grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Anthony of Michigan.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. In Gunder Funeral Home. Burial will be in Marion Cemetery.
