MARION - Alta L. Showalter, 94, died 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at Marion Manor Nursing Home in Marion.
She was born Oct. 17, 1904 in Rockford, the daughter of the late Dr. J.O.L., and Jemima (Krugh) Snyder. On Dec. 27, 1923, she married Gale W. Showalter, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Showalter was a homemaker.
Funeral services were held at Boyd Funeral Home in Marion, with the Rev. J. Weston Jones officiating.
