GUSTAVA O. GULIKSON

Miss Gustava Gulikson, 73, of route 1, Manitowoc, a former teacher in the rural public schools of the county, died Monday morning at Holy Family hospital following an illness of the past month.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Berge funeral home in Valders and at 1:30 at the Grace Lutheran church in the town of Cato with the Rev. M.O. Dale of Amherst, Wis., officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Gulikson, the deceased was born in the town of Liberty in 1874 and taught in several rural schools over a period of 20 years. She retired from teaching in 1919 to keep house for her two brothers, Iver and Ole Gulikson, on their farm in the town of Liberty.

Never having been married, Miss Gulikson had continued to make her home with her brothers since that time.

In addition to the two brothers, she is survived by a niece and four nephews in this county.

The body may be viewed at the Berge funeral home from Wednesday noon until the time of services Thursday.
