Somerset — Marie Holt Maden Adams, 94, a resident of Britthaven Nursing Home in Somerset, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

She was born May 18, 1911 in Pulaski County to the late William (Bill) and Vie Burton Holt. She was a member of McKinney Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Pulaski County.

Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Juanita Young, Somerset; two grandsons, Terry (and Mae) Young, Las Vegas, Nev., and Larry Young, Somerset; three granddaughters, Anita (and Larry) Flynn, Nancy, Darlene (and Chuck) Goff, Somerset, and Sue (and Larry) Toering, Somerset; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jerry Otis Young; one sister, Anna Young; two husbands, Henry Maden and Floyd Adams.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Somerset Cemetery with Bro. Howard Burton officiating.

Visitation will be held prior to the graveside service from noon until 2 p.m. today at Lange & New Bros. Family Funeral Home.

Musical selections at the graveside service will include "Amazing Grace" by volcalist and guitarist Stephen Denney and a taped selection of "How Great Thou Art."

Pallbearers will be Chuck Goff, Larry Toering, Johnny Goff, Dustin Goff, James Smith and Stephen Denney.
