Virginia Catherine "Gin" Weller Hornback, 92, of Lyon's Station, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at her residence. She was born June 4, 1920, in Lyons Station, a homemaker and a life member of Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Stations.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Roy Muster Hornback; her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Rena Mae Washer Weller; and three brothers, William Weller, Logan Weller and Floyd Weller.
Survivors include three sons, Roger (Mary) Hornback, Steve Hornback and Tommy (Joyce) Hornback, all of Lyons Station; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Eddie Weller, of Hodgenville; a sister, Mildred "Till" Beeler, of Floyds Knobs, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Patty Harned Weller, of Hodgenville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 8 at Rolling Fork Christian Church in Lyons Station with burial in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville. The Rev. Tim Underhill will officiate.
Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St. in New Haven and 9-1:30 a.m. Monday, April 8, at the funeral home.
William Rust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
