MRS. HALVERSON BURIED TODAY FROM VALDERS

Mrs. Elizabeth Halverson, pioneer county resident who passed away at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Charles Muehlbauer, 2222 Michigan Ave., Sunday, was laid to her final resting today, services being held from the home of a daughter, Mrs. August Ziebeil, at 924 North Twenty-second street, the Rev. A.O. White officiating and burial took place in the Gjerpen cemetery at Valders.

Hundreds of friends and relatives joined in the services and the floral offerings were many. Mrs. Halverson enjoyed the friendship of a wide circle of county people and was well known in this city.

Eighty Years Old

Deceased was born in Germany, Sept. 17, 1848, being within a few months of her eightieth birthday at the time of death. At the age of five, her parents removed to this county, taking residence in Manitowoc county where a home was established.

In 1867 she was united in marriage to Isaac Halverson who preceded her in death 11 years ago.

Her name before marriage was Elizabeth Michael.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Charles Storm of Milwaukee, Mrs. Martin Gilbert of Waukesha, Mrs. Otto Ziebel of this city, and Miss Louise Halverson and one son, Otto of this city as well. Seventeen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also remain to mourn the passing of Mrs. Halverson. A sister, Mrs. John Horstman, Manitowoc, also survives.
