George Gintner, 82, of Rt. 2, Cato, died Sunday evening at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Reedsville Funeral
Home and at 10:30 a.m. st St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. The
Rev. John Neuser will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery,
Clarks Mills.
Mr. Gintner was born Nov. 15, 1892, in the Town of Cato, son of the late
Joseph and Margaret Stroker Gintner. He married Agnes Riederer
Oct. 14, 1921, at Clarks Mills. He farmed in the Town of Cato, retiring
and moving to Reedsville. After the death of his wife he made his home
with a nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Christel. He was a member
of Catholic Knights of Wisconsin and Holy Name Society.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Margaret Strauss, of California and
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday, where the
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
