ANNA KLABATSCH

RESIDENT OF COUNTY FOR 90 YEARS DIES
A resident of Manitowoc county for ninety years, Mrs. Anna Klabatch, 98, widow of the late Frank Klabatch of Whitelaw, passed away this morning at the home of her daughter, Miss Frances Klabatch at Whitelaw, with whom she has made her home.
By a peculiar coincidence her husband also passed away on Easter Saturday, in 1914.
The deceased was born in Austria in 1832 and came to this country with her parents when a small girl. The family located on a farm near Whitelaw, before the days of
the railroads and when transportation was by means of slow moving oxcarts. Here she grew to womanhood and married Frank Kalbatch (sic) and they lived on a farm, until
the death of her husband.
The deceased is survived by two sons, Frank of Whitelaw and Joseph of Maplewood, and one daughter, Miss Frances of Whitelaw. Burial will take place on Tuesday morning at
9:30 from the St. Michaels Catholic church at Whitelaw.
