LOUIS LEMBERGER

Louis Lemberger, 52, well known town of Cato farmer, died early Sundaymorning as result of a fracture of the skull suffered late Saturday afternoon when he was struck by a tree which he was felling on his farm on the Cato-Clarks Mills road about one and one half miles south of Cato. The fracture was at the base of the skull and It was impossible to move Mr. Lemberger to the hospital, every effort to save
his life being made at the home where he was cared for.
As the tree came down Lemberger was struck by a limb and felled to the ground. He arose and walked to the house but did not complain of being badly hurt. At 2 o'clock in the afternoon he began to have pains and a doctor was called but he apparently was not seriously hurt and no fracture was suspected. Later his condition became alarming and a surgeon was called in but death followed early Sunday morning.
The funeral will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 from the Catholic church at Clarks Mills, Rev. Gelling officiating.
Leaves Family of 8
The unfortunate victim of the accident had made his home in the county most of his life. He is survived by his wife and eight children,Edward, Herbert, Mary and Angeline at home, Alma and Helen in this city, Joseph of Los Angeles and Arnold at Antigo. Two brothers, Ferdinand, who lives on a farm across the road and Joseph at Los Angeles, California, and one sister, Sister M. Rufina also survive.
