HAROLD MORGAN Harold Morgan, 71, of Clarks Mills died at his home early Wednesday evening following a two week illness.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Farly Funeral Home, Valders and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, the Rev. Henry J. Arens will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Morgan was born July 2, 1889 at Clarks Mills, son of the late William and Anna Kreinek Morgan. He was educated in Clarks Mills elementary schools and attended and graduated from the old North Side High School, Manitowoc. He farmed in the town of Cato until 35 years ago when he took over the operation of a grocery store in Clarks Mills. He married the former Helen Diener at Clarks Mills October 27, 1919. He was a member of the board of directors at Maple Crest Sanitarium of Whitelaw for the past 10 years and a member of the Clarks Mills Sportsmen’s Club.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Jenny at home and Mrs. Ralph Hartman of Princeton, Wis., brother, Elton Morgan of Cato, sister, Mrs. Pete Peterson of Park Ridge, Ill., a granddaughter and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited by the congregation at 8 p.m. Manitowoc
