HERESA PANKRATZ

Mrs. Theresa Pankratz, 83, died this morning at the family home in the town of Cato of pneumonia.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church at Clarks Mills, the Rev. Lawrence Loerke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Berge Funeral Home at Valders from Saturday evening until the hour of the service. The rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Pankratz was born in Germany on April 5, 1859, and came to America and to the town of Cato with her parents when she was 13. She was Theresa Koerner before her marriage to Joseph Pankratz of Cato. Mr. Pankratz died
in 1917.

She was the mother of 11 children. Nine of them survive her. They are Mrs. George Reuther of Detroit; Mrs. Jerry Roland of Cato, Mrs. Alvin Christel, Louis, Bernard and Max Pankratz of Manitowoc; and Frank and Hugo Pankratz of Appleton. There are several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Anton Koerner, who
makes his home at the Holy Family hospital; and one sister, Mrs. Michael Pritzel of the town of Cato.
Mrs. Pankratz was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Mary's church.
