Mrs. Ted Pritzl, 79, of Cato, died Friday at Maple Crest Nursing Home, Whitelaw. Funeral services will be at 10:30am Monday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 11am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. Leander Nickel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Pritzl was born May 17, 1889, in the Town of Cato, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Meany Cooney. She was married June 2, 1918 to Lovell Brennan and he preceded her in death. In July, 1936, she was married to Ted Pritzl and he died in 1968. Mrs. Pritzl had been a teacher at Oshkosh and was Cato postmistress 17 years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Brennan, of Cato; three stepsons, Harold of Cato, Bernard of Spokane, Wash., and Jerome of Valders; two stepdaughters, Mrs. William McCulley of Manitowoc and Mrs. Arnold Schuler of Rt. 1, Valders; 22 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2pm Sunday where at 8pm the Rosary will be recited.
