Mrs. Frank Riederer(sic), 66, of Rt. 2, Reedsville, died Tuesday
afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. The Rev. Henry Arens will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Clara Zipperer was born at Whitelaw May 14, 1894, daughter of the late Frank and Julia Grall Zipperer. She was married Oct. 25, 1915, to Frank Riederer and the couple farmed in the Town of Cato until 1947, retiring and moving to Whitelaw. She was a member of Christian Mothers Society of St. Mary Church.
Surviving are the husband, seven daughters, Mrs. Edwin Lau and Mrs. Edward Novak of Rt. 2, Reedsville, Mrs. Lester Bartz of Rt. 1, Newton, Mrs. Frank Kopidlansky of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Mrs. Joseph Krjcarek of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Edward Paul of Manitowoc Rapids and Mrs. Joseph Paider of Star Route, Denmark; three sons, Isadore of Rt. 1, Cato, Reuben of Rt. 2, Reedsville, and Florian of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; eight brothers, Richard, Wilber and Frank of Rt. 1, Cato, Louis of Whitelaw, Clement, Albert and George of Manitowoc and Joseph of Elkhart Lake; a sister, Mrs. Edward Burich of Reedsville; and 37 grandchildren. Four children preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
