Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mills. The Rev. James Jugenheimer will be celebrant with Deacon Thomas Koch and Deacon Phil Andrastek assisting in the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow on Thursday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Clarks Mills.
Mark was born Sept. 14, 1958 in Manitowoc, son of Edward and Eileen Schermetzler Staudinger. He was a 1976 graduate of Valders High School and attended the University of Wisconsin Agricultural Short course in Madison. Mark had been living and working in Plymouth for the past 11 years. Mark was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include his parents: Ed and Eileen Staudinger of Clarks Mills; his special friend, Patti Reischl of Plymouth; four brothers and one sister and their spouses: Bob (Mary Kay) Staudinger of Clarks Mills; Karen (Michael) Shimon of Kellnersville; Greg (Sherry) Staudinger of Belton, Texas; Gary (Shelly) Staudinger of St. Nazianz; Kevin (Kay) Staudinger of Whitelaw; his godson, Brian Staudinger; his godfather, Howard Birkholtz; aunts, uncles and friends survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ken, an infant brother, Michael; his maternal grandparents, Jacob and Mary Schermetzler; his paternal grandparents, Ed and Bertha Staudinger and his godmother, Dorothy Birkholz.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clarks Mills on Wednesday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services at 6:30 p.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is serving the Staudinger family.
