Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic church, Clarks Mills. Rev. John Conrad will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
He was born April 26, 1911 in the town of Cato son of the late Joseph and Katherine Knier Tienor. He attended Cato area schools. He married Albertha Jung June 15,1944 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He and his wife farmed in the town of Cato, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Valders Senior Citizens, St. Mary's Parish and St. Mary's Holy Name Society.
Survivors include his wife, Albertha; four sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Mardell of Valders, David and Kathleen of rural Reedsville, Paul and Gladys of Kiel, Daniel and Elizabeth of rural Manitowoc; four daughters and sons-in-law, Delores and Dennis Basken of rural Manitowoc, Janet and James Wadzinske of rural Manitowoc, Mary and James LaFond of Two Rivers, Eleanor and Gregory Matczynski of Manitowoc; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph and Gladys of Manitowoc, Emil and Florence of Brillion, Leonard and Mabel of rural Reedsville; one sister and brother-in-law, Marie andVictor Koerner of Manitowoc; 24 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister Rose Meyer.
Friends may call at the Christianson-Deja Funeral Home in Valders from 5 until 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Church. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday by Father Conrad.
