Mrs. Barbara Tyson, 83, ____ St. Manitowoc, died Sunday evening of Holy Family Extended Care Facility, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at __ p.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. James Stamborski will officiate with burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Clarks Mills.
Mrs. Tyson, nee Barbara Edger?? was born June __ 1892 in the town of Rantoul, Calumet County, daughter of the late Peter and Agnes Schmidtbauer Edger?. She was married to Joseph Tyson Sept. 28, 1919 at Chilton, residing in Valders until 1949? when they moved to Manitowoc. She had been employed as cook for the hot lunch program and sisters of St. Andrew Parish for many years. She was a member of St. Andrew Women’s Council. Mr. Tyson preceded her in death Jan. 29, 1960.
Survivors include a son Joseph of Oshkosh; four daughters: Mrs. William (Sue) Fischer of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, Mrs. Richard(Germaine) Buchner of Milwaukee, Mrs. Robert (Armella) Kretsch of Manitowoc and Mrs. Merlin (Lillian) ___ of Gillett; 30 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A daughter Marian preceded her in death. Mrs. Tyson was the last surviving member of a family of 1_?.
Friends may call at Piette Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a memorial service will be at 7:45 p.m.
