Injuries sustained when a horse jammed him against a wall in a stall two weeks ago, proved fatal to Frank Wallender Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wallender, Sr., Reedsville, Rt. 3, who died at the Holy Family Hospital at 10:40 o’clock this morning. An operation was resorted to last Saturday but proved ineffectual in saving his life.
The deceased was twenty-three years old having been born at their present home May 22, 1902. Besides his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Clara Gintner of Phlox, Wisconsin, Mrs. Minnie Hickman of School Hill, Miss Mary Wallender of this city and six brothers, Joseph, William, Edward, John, Louis and Alvin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 from the family home Reedsville, R.3 and at 10 o’clock from the Clarks Mills church. The Rev. Father Geiling will officiate.
