ALBERT HANSON, 79, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Robert Onkka will officiate and burial will be in Gjerpen Cemetery.
Mr. Hanson was born May 10, 1889, in the Town of Cato, son of the late Ole P. and Julia Johnson Hanson.
He married Mabel Hanson April 5, 1915. He had been employed 31 years by Valders Telephone Co. and retired in 1963. Mrs. Hanson died June 13, 1963.
He is survived by three sons, Lyle and Vince, of Manitowoc and Helmer, of Green Bay; a brother, Alvin, of Sun City, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. William Lampiris, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Amanda Dedering, of New Holstein; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A son, Walton, died three weeks ago and a sister and a brother also preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 4 p.m. Friday until noon Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until time of service.

The six sons-in-law served as pallbearers. They were; Albert Larson, Oscar Larson, Albert Hanson, Peter Mason, Monroe Halveorson and Hiram Pederson.
