Milton Hoefner, 16, of Newton, a junior in Lincoln high school, died early today at the Holy Family hospital. He had been ill only two weeks.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 2 o'clock from the Gjerpen church, the Rev. E. A. Frethelm officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
He was born at Newton in 1923, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hoefner and was in his third year at high school here.
Survivors are the parents: brother, (private); sister; (private); grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. August Fischer of this city, Henry Hoefner of Newton.
The body may be viewed from Wednesday noon until the hour of the services.
