The body of Bernett C. Young, son of Mr. & Mrs. James F. Young of Flint, Mich., who lost his life in action in France Oct. 5, 1944, arrived here Wednesday for final funeral services.
The rites will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Morgan Funeral Home by Rev. W. B. Parrott, pastor of the Baptist Church. Burial will be in Morgan Cemetery.
The Young family resided in Advance about 20 years ago. The parents have arrived for services and are with relatives at Puxico.
Besides his parents the young soldier is survived by a brother, James J. Young, with the Marine Corps in North Carolina, and a sister, Mrs. Arthur Soderlund, of Flint.
