Anton C. Johnson, 87, died Friday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Anton Olson, of route 4, Manitowoc following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at 2 o'clock at the Gjerpen Lutheran church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born in 1867 in Manitowoc Rapids and in 1913 married Miss Emma Wrolson who preceded him in death two years ago.
Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Olson; two nieces, Mrs. Hubert Harder of route 4, Manitowoc and Mrs. Abner Halverson, of route 1, Cato; and a nephew, Donald Wrolson of Milwaukee.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
