Mrs. Anton Johnson, 72, lifelong resident of the county, died Sunday morning at the Holy Family hospital. She was moved there after being taken ill on the farm home on route 4, Manitowoc, in Manitowoc Rapids.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home and at two o'clock from the Gjerpen Lutheran church, the Rev. Martin Trygstad officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson, nee Emma Wrolson, was born at Manitowoc Rapids in 1870 and in 1913 was married to Anton Johnson. They located on the homestead farm.
Survivors are the widower; brother, Oscar, of Milwaukee; sister, Mrs. H. Halverson, of Manitowoc Rapids.
The body may be viewed after seven o'clock tonight at the funeral home.
