A marriage license was issued yesterday to Edson W. Poast and Vera Houtz, both of Omaha. They were married by Justice E. B. Gardiner.
His World War I draft registration card (dated Sept. 12, 1918) lists his name as Edward Webster Poast (which is also how he signed his name), born Sept. 5, 1884. He worked as a teamster for Omaha Merchants Express Co. He and wife Vera were living at 810 South 18th St. in Omaha. He stated that he was tall, of medium build with black hair and brown eyes and that he was partially blind in his left eye.
