Verdelle M. Miller, 89, of Kansas City, MO, passed away at Pleasant Hill Health Center on April 8, 2013.

Visitation on Friday, April 12 from 12- 1pm at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel with service beginning at 1pm. Inurnment in Bates City Cemetery.

Verdelle was born in Sheridan, MO, on Oct. 29, 1923 to Nathan & Hattie (Spaulding) Troutwine and was proud of being raised on her family's farm.

She was an avid gardener, loved her yard, traveling in the motor home & working cross word puzzles.

Verdelle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 39 years, Jerry; a daughter, Caron C. Woods; four brothers, Eugene, Virgil, Junior & Charles Troutwine and a sister, Annabelle Yeo. She is survived by two sisters, Betty Stone (Paul) & Reta Hall (Paul); three step children; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren & two great-great grandchildren.

Verdelle will be dearly missed by her family & friends.
