She was a retired manager of client services for the Rawlings Corporation and a member of the West Broadway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Ray Eschman; parents, Earl and Eula Ray; brothers, James Earl and Jack Ray; and sisters, Jean Irby and Nelda Ray.
She is survived by her brothers, Ben Ray (Janet), Richard Ray (Nancye) and Bob Ray; sister, Alice Orange (David); special nieces, Rachael Oerther and Rebeca Ray; special nephew, Kyle Orange; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Jill was an aspiring friend, mentor and loved one to many others.
Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son, 7336 Southside Dr., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ratterman's.
